I was given some 13 page article to read about the surgery way ahead of the scheduled date. I found the article very helpful.It went a long way to prepare me on what to expect and what to do that helped in my recovery. I was physically, emotionally, and psychologically prepared for the surgery. The anesthesia was very good he explained to me what I needed to know and made me feel comfortable with what he will do. I was very concerned about my breathing situation but he assured me that very thing will be fine..The nurses and everybody in the theater were exquisitely beautiful. In the recovery room I was monitored regularly as far I could remember. I spent one night after the surgery as predicted by Dr Lombardi.Everything went well. My overall experience with my doctor and nurses was wonderful. I was treated as a queen. May God bless you all.
